Show Sucess for Lichen at Merseyside Show! |
|
|
The lovely 'Lichen' AKA Frostisox Bluestar was the only Snowshoe at Merseyside Cat Club Show today. I was thrilled when she was awarded a merit - her third and delighted as three red cards arrived for her side classes. Then a white card appeared on her pen saying - nominated for 'Best in Variety' - I nearly cried ! Then a massive white rosette arrived with 'Best Kitten in Variety' She was beaten to 'Best in Variety' by an Abysinian who went on to be 'Best in Show'
I simply cant describe how delighted I am - what a wonderful day.. What a wonderful kitten - and still only seven months old.
My thanks to Kate for entrusting Lichen to me and to Mollie for all her help and support.
Cheers
Maud Leather
& Lichen of course !! |

ANOTHER MERIT FOR YUKIKO! |
|
|
Saturday June 26th saw my Snowshoe girl, Coldenufforsnow Yukiko, take another
Merit certificate at the Abyssinian Cat Club Show in Stratford upon Avon.
It was a VERY hot day and both 'Kiko and I were pleased that it was a local show,
just 12 miles away, so we had a very short journey home.
The show manager also got a round of applause when she closed the show early.

Flying The Flag for Snowshoes at Midland Counties Show |
|
We've been flying the Snowshoe banner today at the Midland Counties Cat Club show at Wolverhampton!
Two snowshoes were present, Coldenufforsnow Yukiko and her son, Coldenufforsnow Cabazon.
Both had a 'red card' day. Yukiko won in a class of 7 'any variety breeders female' which included a Grand
Champion and a Champion. Cabazon won in a class of 7 'any variety kitten 6-9 months'. Mother and son both
having a 'red card 'day at the same show ..... I think this is a Red Letter day for the Snowshoes! I was sooo
pleased with them both. Mollie at Coldenufforsnow.
